This study shows that the nations with the lowest gender gaps between males and females in wage earning, child rearing, and labor-sharing expectations, such as Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Finland, score regularly at the top of the World Economic Forum’s global competitiveness reports. These countries are freer of the rampant social pathologies that are afflicting men in less egalitarian cultures.”
